RIP, Rosa Parks
I'm trying to pay a (relatively) tasteful tribute, but if anyone is offended, just say so and I'll delete the thread.

Civil disobedience, and taking your punishment in silence, thus making your point.
Now:
'Look at me me' disguised as civil disobedience, and whining all the way to and from the hoosegow.

Staging a peaceful demonstration against things that were morally repugnant.

Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and others in the equal rights movement protesting to get for black citizens what the white takes for granted.
Now:
Micheal Moore, Spike Lee, Louis Farrakhan and others of their ilk protesting to give to the white citizens what the inner city blacks are trying to escape.
