I'm trying gauge by virtue of responses what works and what doesn't work captioning-wise. Observations:
1. Bush, Ted Kennedy, Kerry, Boxer and Condi popular. Ahnuld, somewhat less popular. Cynthia McKinney--- not popular.
2. Kids ice-fishing, playing football, or driving cars, not popular.
3. Pictures with chickens, popular. Pictures of Hillary, not popular.
4. People are tired of looking at pathetic, left-wing losers.
5. Pictures suggesting the complete annhilation of France, very popular.
Any other comments, vis-a-vis, what works and what doesn't?

* Lampooning pathetic M.E. thugs, dictators and dictator wannabees -- very, very popular!
"LGF Buckaroo"
I'd have to say that it's more than just the subject matter. Sometimes you just happen upon one of those pictures that lend themselves to endless amounts of captioning. If that Condi photo was "Hillary and the angry inch" it would have worked just as well, if not better.
Or Arnold even...
There are also photos that, thought quite funny, will only lend themselves to maybe 5 captions. Like this one
Pictures of Hillary with a chicken on her head, hey, I would like to see that captioned.
For the moment, I wouldn't mind seeing more cracks at Babs or Chappaquiddick Kennedy for their disgraceful behavior.
More fart jokes.
We need to explore the Sapphic subtext of the Mrs. Butterworth-Aunt Jemima relationship.
Keep doing what you're doing. I read you almost every day. Every now and then you have a caption that makes me shed tears. You never know what picture might lead to that magic caption!
I just want to know how to keep y'all happy. Tomorrow you're getting an old geezer ice-fishing. I hope you can handle it.
Tomorrow? But I can't wait that long!
I want to see an old geezer ice-fishing, and I want to see it now!
BTW, did you ever hear the story about the man who fed bread to the monkeys in the park every day?
As often as possible, I'm going to stick to the 10 caption format, even if it means using filler. I never know what's going to work, so I try to come at each pic from as many angles as possible. Also, there have been times when captions I thought were throwaways turn out to be the most popular.
Actually, V the K, I liked the Cynthia McKinney jokes. I tried to send my kudos on the "yes, I can unhook my jay when consuming prey" bit (too funny!), but I was running too many programs on my PC & it creashed. BTW: the "Return of the Iron Dingbat" will come to mind everytime I see Hillary on TV - thanks for making that considerably more enjoyable!
Other observations: Rummy posts are funny, but Palestinian bomb fodder deserves a special forum, especially when they yawn.
